Turkey Day Questing with Pie and Leveling Sampler

Well, a lot (and I mean a whole freakin' lot!) has happened with me in Runescape the past two days. First, when I caught wind of the Thanksgiving event on Marlaine's blog, I felt I had to go do it, so here's two pictures of the fun i had.

Wow! just look at those hits! I have to say that killing those turkeys was a good load of fun.

Not much longer after this, I was able to squeeze all my agility juice out of me for this one day, to get 97 agility, which was shown in my last post. Along with this, I went on a so called "skilling-binge" and got quite a few levels. Unfortunately, I lagged out, and could not get 2 of the screen-shots I wanted.

Along with these two levels, I also obtained a smithing level, now 51, along with an herblore level, now 63, to which I am very proud of.

All of this leveling brings me to today. Today was a day of feasting and joy, of questing and agility. Wait, did I just say Questing? I sure did! Despite it being one of my least favorite things to do, I decided it was time for me to break out of my agility shell for a little and try some questing. And of course, along with questing, came my best friend and Leet quester, Full of Pie, who was there to help and cheer me along the entire time. I have to say that if it weren't for Pie, I don't know where I'd be. She's one of my best friends, and I adore her.

First off was mogres, for the fact that Pie and I both felt it was time for me to get myself a pair of flippers. After heading over to Burthorpe and grabbing some fishing explosive, we were off to Mudskipper point! Along with many minute drops, such as fish and bones, I got a Mudskipper Hat! Silly little fish hat. :-D After that I got....A Ranarr seed! Free 40K! But yet no flippers. :-( About 25 kills in, i saw two large yellow things just laying there, and i knew what they were. After standing there tapping on the "!" key to keep Pie in suspense, I put them on to show her, and she was just as happy as I. On our way back, we saw the Polar bear in rimmington, and i had to take a picture to show my nice new flippers.

So Awesome! After this, I also decided it was time to go Pirate! and to try my hand at getting a Lucky Cutlass, akin to what Pie always wears. Despite being very involved in the quests, I still was able to take a few pictures for your viewing pleasure. Now I must say, it is getting very late, so I'll leave you with these pictures.

In all, aside from the mass amounts of food (my favorite part, LOL!) I have had 2 very productive days, but now it's time to get serious. 99 agility is just around the corner. I want it, so badly. Well, hope your Thanksgivings were very filling!

Goodnight!

  1. Congratulations on the herblore and other levels. I need to get to that new Thanksgiving clue event.

Let me know if you ever need a hand questing! I have done just about all of them a few times now, and would be happy to help.

ps congrats on the 97 agility. That is awesome.
